Organizational Profile Mushroom Development Foundation (MDF) is a citizen based organization, registered as a society under Society Registration Act XXI of 1860 vide registration number KAM/240/G/486 of 1997-98 dated 08/01/1997. It is also registered with FCRA under Foreign Currency Regulation Act of 1976 vide registration number 020780099 dated 13/04/2005. Further it is registered under the 12A of the income tax act.
Inception Alleviation of poverty among the marginal farmers and the working poor can be best addressed by using mushroom as a tool as organized sectors are yet to venture into this segment of economy by establishing a SOCIAL ENTERPRISE. To establish an innovative economic system among the farming community bridging the gap to the urban market in building their capacity to participate in the market economy by using mushroom as a tool.
Mission The mission of MDF is to develop a new crop economy to find sustainable additional income source to the farming community using available agricultural waste and to address the major problem of the farming community; i.e. better market control of their produce. |
